Position Description: Job duties include providing in-person ASL Interpretation services for deaf or hard-of-hearing employees of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the St. Paul District Headquarters with occasional overnight travel to off-site locations. There is also the possibility some events may require performance of duties in a VRI setting or through other virtual formats. Meetings and events will occur during the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Interpreters will be notified of upcoming meetings no less than four days before the meeting or event date. Interpreters will work in a 1099 Independent Contractor status and will be paid an hourly rate for services performed.

Required Qualifications:

-Over the age of 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States

-Possess reliable transportation to the service location

-ASL certification or education required (RID; Please provide copy of certification with application)
